Highlights: All specs of Xiaomi Mi 9 smartphone have leaked online. The handset is said to run on Snapdragon 855 SoC. It could come with a triple camera setup featuring 48 MP main camera. Xiaomi has already announced that it will launch a 5G variant of its Mi Mix 3 smartphone this year. However, it might also be working on the Mi 9 and the Mi Mix 4 phones, which could reportedly be launched running on Snapdragon 855 with 5G support. A new report on the Xiaomi Mi 9 has surfaced online and a Weibo post details almost all the specifications of the handset. If the report is to be believed, the Mi 9 could feature a triple camera setup with a 48MP main camera, which is said to use Sony's IMX586 sensor. The phone is also tipped to get a 12MP secondary camera and a 3D TOF camera. A previous report suggested that the Xiaomi Mi 9 will be the first smartphone from the company to feature three cameras on the back. Further, the Mi 9 could launch with a 6.4-inch 19:9 1080p AMOLED display bearing a water drop notch design. An early render of the phone also suggested the same display size, but not the waterdrop notch. The Mi 9 is speculated to feature an in-display fingerprint sensor and from the front, it is said to look like the OnePlus 6T while the triple camera setup on the back could be vertically aligned, as seen on the Huawei P20 Pro. As mentioned above, the phone is expected to be launched running on the Snapdragon 855 SoC with the X24 LTE modem and might be offered in a 6GB RAM + 128GB configuration. It could be priced starting at CNY 2,999 (Rs 30,466 approx). The Mi 9 is said to launch running on MIUI 10, which could be based on Android 9 Pie. The phone is also said to come packing a 3500 mAh battery with 32W fast charging, however, there’s no mention of wireless charging support. The handset might feature dimensions of 155 x 75 x 7.6 mm and might be made available in March. If the company is planning to launch the phone by March, we might hear an announcement regarding it during the upcoming Mobile World Congress 2019.
