MWC 2019 is finally upon us and Oppo is one of the companies that will make announcements regarding new devices and technologies at the event. While there have been rumours and speculations of what the smartphone maker would announce at the event, the company itself recently confirmed that it will showcase the 10x Lossless Zoom technology at the event. Well, its own invite caption for MWC 2019 reads ‘Get Closer,’ which does give the impression that Oppo could tweak and improve its previously showcased 5X zoom technology and incorporate it into its devices. Rumours making rounds of the internet suggest that the company could also unveil its Oppo F11 Pro and a foldable smartphone at today's event. In another tweet, it posted a video showcasing how the 10x Lossless Zoom tech works and will enable users to capture good images from a considerable distance. The video was apparently recorded by the Oppo VP, Brian Shen, who zooms into the architecture of La Sagrada Familia church. We were impressed by the video, if it was in fact shot using a smartphone. However, we will believe it when we get to experience this tech first-hand. Oppo F11 Pro, foldable phone expected as well Oppo could also show off some of its upcoming smartphones at the MWC 2019. The MWC invite company sent to the Chinese media also hinted at the launch of a foldable device. Previously, the company’s Product Manager, Chuck Wang, reportedly said that Oppo’s foldable phone could be launched at the MWC 2019. Wang also said that a 5G smartphone in also in the works, which is planned for a release in Europe in the first half of 2019. While Wang confirmed that the company’s foldable device will be unveiled at its MWC event, there have been almost no reports or leaks about it. It seems that the device is being kept under wraps.
