Highlights: The Nokia 9 PureView will tout a pair of 16MP sensors, another pair of 12MP sensors and a lone 8MP sensor. The camera can shoot 64MP photos. All five cameras can be fired at the same time according to the report. The Nokia 9 PureView is perhaps the most anticipated phones to launch at MWC 2019. The flagship Nokia phone has been under development for more than year, and based on multiple reports, it is slated to see the light of the day on February 24th in Barcelona. The phone is particularly interesting for the camera setup on the back, apart from features like in-display fingerprint sensor and wireless charging. Furthermore, apart from a few photos leaked online, Nokia managed to keep a close lid on specific information about the phone. But now, a new report by Nokia Power User has revealed a lot of details about the phone’s specifications. According to the report, the penta-lens camera on the Nokia 9 PureView will be able to shoot 64-megapixel images. There will be a pair of 12-megapixel sensors and another pair of 16-megapixel sensors. The fifth sensor has an 8-megapixel resolution. Furthermore, the report claims the Nokia 9 PureView will come with Light camera technology. Light is a company that specialises in computational photography and was the company behind the infamous 16-lens camera launched in 2017. The collaboration might see the Nokia 9 PureView perform things like lossless zoom, 3D depth mapping and more. Furthermore, the report reveals the Nokia 9 PureView might be able to shoot images through all the five sensors at the same time. By doing so, it can apparently capture more light for better images in low-light. The Nokia 9 PureView is all but confirmed to launch this month. The phone recently passed through FCC and also got approved by 3C body in China. Previous reports have stated the flagship phone will tout a 5.99-inch AMOLED display with Quad HD+ resolution along with support for HDR10. Under the hood will be a Snapdragon 845 SoC. The chipset will supposedly be paired with 6GB of RAM and 128GB of storage. There could be a smaller variant as well with 4GB RAM and 128GB storage. Like all Nokia phones, this one too is expected to be Android One certified and will run on stock Android 9 Pie. Lastly, the phone is slated to house a big 4,150mAh battery with support for 18W fast charging.
