Highlights: The PUBG Mobile server will be down till 1:30PM IST. This is to update the server with the new zombie mode that has been in Beta since January 25. The new mode is called Survive Till Dawn. If you are looking to play PUBG Mobile this fine Monday morning then there is bad news for you. A few days ago PUBG mobile tweeted, “PUBG MOBILE will be taken offline for maintenance from 12AM to 8AM (UTC) on February 18th. Service may resume sooner or later. Stay tuned!” The timing in India translates to 5:30AM to 1:30PM on February 18. Once the server is back online, players will receive the update to the much awaited zombie mode on PUBG Mobile. The zombie mode update 0.11.0 is based on the recently released Resident Evil 2 game. The mode, which was originally supposed to release on February 10, was delayed as it was riddled with a lot of bugs. The zombie mode has been in beta siced January 25. The mode's official name is Survive Till Dawn. The Survive Till Dawn mode will have a smaller count of players, but given that players will take on other players and zombies in this mode, they will have to keep their trigger finger ready. In case you’re wondering here is a list of everything that will be included in the new PUBG Mobile 0.11.0 update. Added zombie: Survive Till Dawn, a new time-limited event mode when players fight zombies and bosses from Resident Evil 2 Added Weather: Moonlight to Vikendi Added player spaces: It will be available where player information and connections are displayed and you can select a friend with Synergy 400 or above as Partner to stand by your side in your space Added Resident Evil 2 main menu theme and music Sanhok available in Arcade - quick match Shadows can be disabled under settings Past results can be kept up to one month only Fixed terrain display bugs for budget devices The update essentially takes PUBG’s battle royale style of looting shooting with zombies. Zombie mode in a shooter game isn't new. In fact it is a tried and tested method for adding new spice to an old game. Call of Duty has been a game that has had a zombie mode in most of its iterations breathing fresh life into the games multiplayer. Left For Dead is a game based on fighting hordes of zombies with friends ensuring you all survive. The list of survival horror shooter games is endless and each brings with it a new twist. Games like Dead Trigger and Into The Dead are great examples of zombie survival games on smartphones and if you want to take a break from PUBG and trey different zombie shooting games on your smartphone, we suggest you give these a go. They are fun and engaging. Also read: Far Cry New Dawn Review: More than just an expansion 6 games to check out in February 2019 Unopened copy of Super Mario Bros. sells for $100,150 at an auction
