Highlights: Vivo V15 Pro smartphone launched in India. The device features a pop-up front camera and an in-display fingerprint sensor. It comes equipped with 6GB RAM, 128GB storage. Vivo has launched its Vivo V15 Pro smartphone in India, which bags some of the ‘world’s first’ to its name. The handset features a 32 MP front-facing pop-up camera and is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 675 SoC, the former feature being a first on any mobile phone. It also comes equipped with an in-display fingerprint sensor and sports an almost bezel-less display design and no notch, thanks to the pop-up front camera. The device hides the proximity and ambient light sensors beneath the display and Vivo claims that the V15 Pro features a 91.6 percent screen to body ratio. Vivo V15 Pro Specifications The Vivo V15 Pro sports a 6.32-inch screen with a 19.5:9 display aspect ratio. As mentioned above, the proximity and ambient light sensors are hidden behind the display and the phone is touted to feature a 91.64 screen to body ratio. It comes equipped with an in-display fingerprint sensor that is claimed to unlock the device in 0.37 seconds. It is the first handset in India to launch running on the Qualcomm Snapdragon 675 platform that features the fourth generation of Kryo cores and the Hexagon DSP. The phone comes equipped with 6GB RAM with 128GB of internal storage. The Vivo V15 Pro is the company’s first V-series phone to feature a triple camera setup. It comes equipped with a 48MP main camera, an 8MP super wide-angle camera that can capture 120-degree images and a 5MP sensor that enables bokeh shots. The 48MP camera uses 4-in-1 pixel binning to deliver better quality images even in low-light conditions, Vivo claims. It comes equipped with a 32MP camera on the front and is backed by a 3700mAh battery and supports ‘dual-engine’ fast charging. There is also a dual turbo mode for gaming, which is said to reduce app boot times by 20 percent and the company has added an ‘e-sports mode’ that employs an algorithm for optimising background applications on the phone while gaming. Vivo V15 Pro Availability, Pricing and Launch Offers The Vivo V15 Pro comes in 6GB RAM and 128GB storage version and is priced at Rs 28,990.
