Highlights: Apple’s Powerbeats Pro truly wireless earphones leaked online. The device’s images and videos were reportedly found in the latest iOS 12.2 update. The earphone features a design similar to the Powerbeats 3 earphone but they are truly wireless like the AirPods. Apple recently announced its new AirPods 2 truly wireless earphones and fresh rumours suggested that it is now working on a truly wireless version of its Powerbeats sports headphones. 9to5Mac has found renders of the company’s upcoming truly wireless audio product in the newly released iOS 12.2 OS. As per the report, images, animation, and renders of the device were apparently hidden in the new software update, which could be called Powerbeats Pro. In terms of design, the earphones look quite similar to the Powerbeats 3 wireless earphones but of course, these are truly wireless like the Apple AirPods. The earphone could be announced in Black and White colour versions, and its charging case is also showcased in the leaked graphics. The case is expected to hold the truly wireless earbuds, when not in use, and also charge them in the process. There is no information on how many hours of battery backup one can expect from the upcoming earphone. Unlike the Apple AirPods, which follow a single design fit all philosophy, the Powerbeats Pro are seen with clips that should enable a more secure hold, along with silicon earbuds that can be changed as per user's need. Additionally, “Hey Siri” support for Powerbeats Pro has also been spotted on the new iOS 12.2 update. Seeing how most of the graphics and images are well made and the Siri support pop-up on iOS seems quite polished, we can expect the company to soon announce these new earphones. Speaking of Apple AirPods, the second generation of AirPods come with support for wireless charging capabilities. As mentioned earlier, the earphones come with Apple’s H1 chip. The AirPods with the standard charging case are priced at Rs 14,900, while the earphones with wireless charging case are priced at Rs 18,900. Buying just the wireless case will cost Rs 7,500.
