Highlights: Moto G7 will be unveiled in India on March 25 Motorola India teased the phone in a video on its official Facebook page Amidst a sea of rumours and speculations, Motorola has confirmed its plans to unveil the Moto G7 in India on March 25. The Lenovo-owned mobility company teased the unveiling on its official Facebook India page in a twenty-second video. The short clip confirms the presence of a waterdrop notch on the display and a dual-camera setup on the rear panel. The Moto G7 is expected to be powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 632 chipset with 4GB of RAM. When the Moto G7 is finally launched, we expect the smartphone to cost a little over Rs 15,000. The short teaser clip shared on Facebook by Motorola India reveals very little about the Moto G7. Still, it does confirm the presence of a few features we expected it to include: a 6.24-inch IPS LCD screen with a waterdrop notch for the single selfie camera, a dual-camera setup on the back, and a traditional fingerprint scanner on the rear panel. We expect the phone to come with standard connectivity features like 4G VoLTE, dual-band Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.2, and a USB Type-C port. Though the Moto G7’s specifications aren’t confirmed, we expect the handset to be powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 632 chipset (with a quad-core CPU clocked at 1.8GHz) and 4GB of RAM. We reckon it’ll have 64GB of internal storage, which is expandable up to 512GB. The screen is expected to be a 6.24-inch IPS LCD panel with a maximum resolution of 1080 x 2270 pixels and a pixel density of 403 pixels per inch. The camera on the back should be a 12-megapixel + 5-megapixel duo with a dual LED flash, while the single selfie shooter should be an 8-megapixel unit. The 3,000mAh battery is expected to support fast charging through a USB Type-C port. The Moto G7 is expected to run Android 9 Pie right out of the box. The Moto G7 Power is already available in the Indian market, and the Moto G7 is about to join it in less than a week’s time. This leaves the fate of only two other related devices undecided: the Moto G7 Plus and Moto G7 Play. Since there’s no mention of the Moto G7 Plus in Motorola’s teaser video, we’re not sure yet if the company will launch it along with the Moto G7 or launch it separately at a later time. We can keep our curious fingers crossed in any case. Related Read: Motorola India has teased the unveiling on its official Facebook page
