Moto G7 to launch in India today: Specs, price and all you need to know

This will be the second phone after the Moto G7 Power in the G7 Series that will be unveiled in the country. The full series consisting of four devices were launched in Brazil earlier this year, and it is expected that the the company will bring the same hardware specs in India as well. The Lenovo-owned mobility company has been teasing the phone on its social media platforms since its first announcement. The company may hold a soft launch just like it did for the Moto G7 Power, but you can still follow the developments on company’s Twitter, Facebook and Instagram handles. Since the phone’s sit in the mid-range, it is expected that the Moto G7 to cost around Rs 15,000. There is information on the number of variants and colours that the company will launch in India. Moto G7 Specifications: The Moto G7 sports a waterdrop notch on the a 6.24-inch IPS LCD Max Vision display with 19:9 aspect ratio and 1080x2270 pixels resolution.  All the phones in the G7 Series have the Snapdragon 6-Series SoCs and the Moto G7 has an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 632 SoC clocked at 1.8GHz. The phone is available in only 4GB RAM and 64GB local storage variant. The storage can be expanded up to 128GB via MicroSD card. In the camera department, the Moto G7 sports a dual-camera setup on the back with a 12MP primary sensor and a lens with an aperture of f/1.8 and 5MP secondary lens with f/2.2 aperture. On the front is an 8MP camera with an f/2.2 aperture. The front shooter is located in the waterdrop notch. The phone packs a 3,000mAh battery and it comes bundled with a 15W TurboPower charging.
