Highlights: Alleged case renders of the OnePlus 7 hint at a pop-up front camera on the phone. The images also hint at a triple rear camera setup. The handset is expected to launch in about three months. We know that OnePlus has a couple of projects up its sleeve, which includes a flagship phone and a 5G enabled device. While there is no confirmation on whether the company’s upcoming flagship phone will also be 5G enabled, renders and reports of the upcoming device are now starting to come in. GizmoChina claims that it has managed to get some official case renders and images of the upcoming OnePlus smartphone. These case renders are in line with the leaked images and render videos of the phone as they feature a cutout for a pop-up camera on the top-left edge of the phone. As one will observe in the images of the alleged OnePlus 7 case, the camera cutout is also wider. This is to accommodate a vertically aligned triple rear camera setup on the phone’s back, which the handset is reported to come with. Additionally, the case images suggest that the alert slider and power button might be on the right edge of the phone, while the volume rockers should be on the left. We suggest that since these are early reports and renders, you take them with a pinch of salt. Speaking of OnePlus, the company’s CEO Pete Lau recently hinted that we could soon get to see a truly wireless pair of earphones by the company. This comes after Lau praised the company’s Bullets Wireless from last year in a Weibo post and said that the company could make it better, hinting at the possibility of truly wireless earbuds by OnePlus. Recently, the OnePlus 7 was also spotted on an online retailer’s website for $569, which translates to approximately Rs 40,000. As for the specifications, the handset is listed running on the Snapdragon 855 SoC, up to 12GB of RAM. It is said to have Android Pie-based OxygenOS 9 and could sport a 6.5-inch AMOLED display. There is also a mention of the rear triple camera setup that apparently sports a 48MP sensor, a 20MP sensor, and a 16MP sensor. The selfie shooter is said to have a 16MP sensor.
