Xiaomi recently announced its Redmi Note 7 series of smartphones in India and the Redmi Note 7 is going on its first sale today. While the Pro variant of the phone sports a 48MP main rear camera, the standard variant comes with a standard dual rear camera. It sports a waterdrop notch display with a 19.5:9 display aspect ratio and features Aura Design, which is said to deliver an immersive experience with thinner bezels. The handset goes up against the other mid-range handsets by phone makers like Asus, Nokia and others. Redmi Note 7 Specifications The Redmi Note 7 sports a 6.3-inch Full HD+ LTPS screen with a 19.5:9 waterdrop notch display design. The display comes with features like Sunlight Display, which ups the brightness and contrast, and Reading Mode, which adjusts colour temperature to cut down on blue light. It runs on the new octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 660 SoC and comes with up to 4GB RAM and up to 64GB storage. The Redmi Note 7 gets Gorilla Glass 5 protection for the display. It runs on MIUI 10 that is based on Android 9 Pie. In terms of optics, the smartphone features a 12MP + 2MP dual rear camera setup.
