Highlights: Nokia X71 sketch shows punch hole display, triple camera setup on the back. The phone is rumoured to come with a 48MP primary sensor. A forum claims that the Nokia X71 and Nokia 6.2 are two different devices. HMD Global will unveil the Nokia X71 on April 2 in Taiwan and just a day ahead of its launch, a sketched image of the phone has leaked showing a triple camera setup on the back and a punch hole display design. The USP of the device is the 48MP camera that we have already seen in a couple of phones launched earlier this year. Interestingly, this could be the first offering from the Finnish giant to have a punch-hole display and a 48MP primary sensor. Apart from the sketch, the leak posted on SlashLeaks also lists the hardware specs that the phone is rumoured to come with. Under the hood, the Nokia X71 is said to have a Qualcomm Snapdragon 660 mobile platform along with 6GB RAM. Last month, the phone was spotted on the Geekbench Browser bearing a Snapdragon 660 chipset with 6GB of RAM, scoring 1455 on the Single-Core test and 5075 on the Multi-Core test. When it comes to the display, the phone is said to sport a 6.4-inch Full HD+ display with a punch-hole. We neither know what type of panel (LCD or OLED) will the phone use, nor there is any information on the resolution of the camera that will be placed inside the hole in the display. The phone is claimed to be ship with a 3500mAh battery and is said to run on Android 9 Pie. The sketch shows the Android One branding which suggests the phone will launch under Google’s Android One Program. The rear camera setup is said to come with three sensors. The primary sensor is speculated to be the 48MP one, however, there is no confirmation on whether the device employs a 48MP sensor by Sony or Samsung. The other two sensors are an 8MP one and a 5MP camera. Previous reports have suggested that secondary camera of the trio may have a 120-degree wide-angle lens. Meanwhile, a China-based forum that reports about Nokia, has claimed that the Nokia X71 and the Nokia 6.2 are two different devices. Till now, it was being understood that both the phones are same. Digit cannot confirm the veracity of the claim so you have to take this development with a hint of salt. The Nokia 6.2 has been reported to ship with a dual-camera setup on the back, Snapdragon 632 SoC along with 4GB/6GB RAM.
