<p>While announcing the Realme 3 smartphone, the company’s CEO Madhav Sheth announced that the handset’s pro variant would be unveiled in April. Sheth recently tweeted that the company is gearing up to launch the new phone. But the specifications of the Realme 3 Pro have leaked online ahead of the official announcement. The smartphone will reportedly be powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 710 chipset, which is also used on the Nokia 8.1 and the Oppo R17 Pro. The handset is touted to borrow the VOOC 3.0 technology from Oppo, which is also present on the company’s Oppo F11 Pro. </p> <p>The Realme 3 Pro could also come equipped with a Sony IMX519 camera sensor, which is also used on the OnePlus 6T. As per the report, the smartphone could be launched in three variants: one with 4GB RAM and 32GB internal storage, another with 4GB RAM and 64GB of storage and a final one with 6GB RAM and 64GB of internal storage space. It could be announced in three colour variants and in the third week of April. The handset is expected to go up against the likes of the Redmi Note 7 Pro, Samsung Galaxy A50 and other mid-range phones. </p> Realme 3 Specifications: <p>The Realme 3 is powered by MediaTek’s Helio P70 chipset and comes equipped with a 6.3-inch HD+ screen with a 19:9 aspect ratio and a dewdrop notch design. It comes in a 3GB RAM/32GB storage version and a 4GB RAM/64GB storage version. The handset runs on the new ColorOS 6 UI, which is based on Android 9 Pie. It is powered by a 4,230 mAh battery, which is claimed to deliver up to 13.9 hours of continuous video playback. </p> <p>In terms of optics, the Realme 3 features a 13MP + 2MP dual rear camera setup. The 13MP main sensor has a 1.12µm pixel pitch and comes with a 5MP lens and an f/1.8 aperture. The secondary 2MP sensor has a pixel pitch of 1.75µm and an f/2.4 aperture lens. The phone’s camera supports PDAF and bokeh imaging, along with Hybrid HDR capability.
