<p>Samsung has launched a new mid-range smartphone called the Galaxy A20 in India. Priced at Rs 12,490, the phone is available in Red, Blue and Black colour variants and will be available from April 8. The phone 6.4-inch HD+ Super AMOLED Infinity-V display and is powered by an Exynos 7884 octa-core SoC with 3GB RAM. The device offers 64GB of onboard storage that can be expanded by up to 512GB via a microSD card.</p> <p>The Samsung Galaxy A20 sports a dual-rear camera setup with a 13MP+5MP configuration.The 5MP sensor features an ultra-wide lens. For selfies, the phone features an 8MP unit up front. The device packs a 4000mAh battery and offers 15W fast charging with USB Type-C connectivity. The phone also comes with Samsung’s One UI, which is based on Android 9 Pie.</p> <p>Aditya Babbar, Director, Mobile Business, Samsung India stated, “As a global technology leader, we are committed to provide meaningful innovations to our consumers. Galaxy A20 allows consumers to do more with its brilliant camera with Ultra-Wide lens and Samsung’s proprietary Super AMOLED technology which brings the display alive. Galaxy A20 will help Gen Z consumers capture brilliant images and videos and let them binge on their favourite content. Additionally, the massive battery with fast charging capability and USB Type C connectivity ensures that consumers can easily power through the day and night on Galaxy A20.”</p> <p>Besides the Galaxy A20, Samsung is also expected to launch another smartphone in the A-series called the Galaxy A90. Recent reports suggest that the phone will be unveiled on April 10. The phone is tipped to feature a 6.7-inch AMOLED display with a resolution of 2400 x 1080p. It is expected to be powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 7150 chipset. At the back, the phone is said to offer a triple-rear camera setup with a 48MP primary sensor, along with 8MP and ToF sensors. The report also noted that the phone will not feature a notch, but rather the rear camera will pop-up and rotate in order to let users take selfies. </p>
