Samsung Galaxy Z Flip hands-on video appears online, giving us our first look at the device

The Samsung Galaxy Z Flip is all set to be launched on February 11 alongside the Galaxy S20 series at the Samsung Unpacked 2020 event. The foldable phone has leaked in renders and the specifications have also hit various forums and websites. Now, the Galaxy Z Flip has appeared online in a hands-on video. Unlike the Galaxy Fold, the upcoming phone folds across the horizontal axis (vertically) like a clamshell phone.

The latest development comes from a Twitter user that goes by “Yunis Ali (@sliverarow)”. He posted a 20-second hands-on video of the Galaxy Z Flip that shows the purple variant of the phone in use. The device is showcased to sport a small display alongside the dual rear cameras on the reflective body.

In the leaked video, it is seen to be sporting an Infinity-O notch. The device is tipped to have a 1.06-inch S-AMOLED secondary display as well.

The Samsung Galaxy Z Flip could be powered by the Snapdragon 855+ chipset, paired with 8GB RAM and 256GB of UFS 3.0 storage. It is tipped to pack a 3300mAh battery that is likely to support 15W fast charging.

On the optics front, the Galaxy Z Flip is seen sporting a dual rear camera setup that is said to have a 12MP primary shooter and a 123-degree f/2.2 aperture 12MP ultrawide sensor. The foldable phone is rumoured to have features like dual pixel autofocus, OIS and 60fps 4K video recording.

The Galaxy Z Flip is said to cost nearly 1,500 Euros.
