Latest iPhone 12 leak reveals the Apple A14 Bionic chip

With the launch of the iPhone 12 drawing closer, leaks for the device have been ramping up in intensity. The latest leak comes in the form of a tweet by one, Mr white. In the image we can see a bunch of A14 chips stacked on top of one another. We do not know if the image can be verified or if it is even real but chipmakers TSMC did reveal that it is working on 5-nanometre chips for a new device set to release during the fall. This particular device could be the Apple iPhone 12.

In a report on Tom’s Guide, TSMC states that the 5-nanometer chip is “about 15% faster but uses a full 30% lower power than the current 7nm node that is in the Snapdragon 865 Plus or Apple A13”. What this means is that the Apple iPhone 12 could have longer battery life while retaining that speed and smooth functioning. The chip will also be powering all the iPhone 12 models including the base iPhone 12 to the iPhone 12 Pro Max.

In other iPhone 12 news, it is speculated that the iPhone 12 could be one of Apple's tiniest phones yet. You can read more about that story here. In fact, leaked renders of the phone also show off a 5.4 inch screen as well a notched OLED display and dual rear camera. You can check out the leaked image here. And finally, Apple could exclude the charger and earpods from the iPhone 12 box when it does launch. You can check out more about that story here.
