The new Xiaomi watch, called the Mi Watch Lite, was spotted on Mi’s Global website. It looks like the Redmi watch that was launched in China last month. The watch listed on mi.com has all the details and specifications of the device but it does not give any details about pricing or availability of the watch.
Specifications:The Mi Watch Lite comes with a 1.4-inch colour display with a resolution of 320 x 320 pixels that comes with auto-brightness adjustment and a pixel density of 323 ppi. The 230mAh battery charges in almost 2hours and can stay powered up-to 9-days on a single charge. The watch features 11 workout modes including Swimming, Cricket, Trekking, Running, and Walking.
The watch comes with 5atm water resistance which allows you to wear the watch while swimming. It also comes with heart monitoring, sleep tracking, and guided breathing modes to help alleviate stress levels. The watch also has call and chat notifications, music control, phone finder, and weather report among other features.
The watch features GPS, A-GPS, GLONASS, Barometer, and compass to track your trajectory, speed, distance, and calories burnt. The Android users will need to download the Xiaomi Wear app while the iOS user will need to download the Xiaomi Wear lite app to connect the watch to their smartphones and access all the features.
Pricing and Options:The watch comes with three different cases and five different coloured bands options to choose from. Given the price of Redmi watch at CNY 299 (roughly Rs. 3,300), we can expect similar pricing for the Mi Watch Lite in global markets.
