It looks like players will finally be able to FAU:G before the end of the month. nCore Games, the developer of the game has confirmed that the game will be available to play from January 26 onwards. The choice to launch the game on India’s Republic Day is pretty obvious considering the nature of the game and what nCore Games wants to portray.
Alongside the tweet, the developers also posted a new trailer for the game as well as the game’s anthem which obviously has patriotic elements. The trailer also finally showcases the use of weapons, alongside a focus on melee combat. It also re-confirms that the game (or at least one mission) in the Galwan Valley in Ladakh.

To recall, FAU:G or Fearless And United Guards was announced as a shot after PUBG Mobile was banned in India. Around, Dussehra, players finally got their first look at the upcoming game via a trailer that was first posted on the nCore games’ official social media account. The trailer suggests an increased focus on melee combat as well as a location where the game would be set. By the end of November however, the game was available for pre-registration on the Google Play Store.
Initially, a number of users reported that they were unable to pre-register for their game, even though their phones seemed to offer more than ample specifications. Digit.in reached out to Vishal Gondal, Advisor and Investor in nCore Games, and he stated that the team over at nCore Games had identified the issue and were issuing a fix. Even with these issues, nCore Games stated that over 1 million players had pre-registered for the game within a 24 hour period.
