While PUBG remains missing in action, home-grown nCore Games is leaving no stone unturned to create a dent in the battle royale genre with Fearless And United Guards a.k.a FAU-G. The developers have announced that they will soon introduce a multiplayer Team Deathmatch mode in FAU-G which has also been teased previously.
nCore Games took to Twitter and announced that the game is set to receive a multiplayer Team Deathmatch mode which will allow players to form a squad as they will likely be dropped into the battle zone. The developers are yet to reveal more details about this particular mode. We can expect that with the new mode, the developers will also release new maps as teased in the released imaged.

— nCORE Games (@nCore_games) February 24, 2021FAU-G was released earlier this year and within days of its launch, it crossed over 50 lakh downloads, becoming the top free game on the Play Store. Previously, the game had reportedly received 4 million pre-registrations in the weeks up to its official release. However, shortly after its initial popularity, the game took a nosedive as its rating dropped from 3.9 stars to 3.5 stars. The reason behind this could potentially be the hype surrounding the game, but the final product was not up to the standard that players were expecting.
In our review of FAU-G, we noted that while the idea behind the game was good, the execution was lacking. We found movement to be quite limited, while the gameplay was quite repetitive, to say the least. We liked the idea of telling the stories of Indian soldiers via storylines in the game as the devs did with the Galwan Valley level. There is minimal in-game advertising which is a plus but the overall package needs to better. We even laid down five points that the devs need to work on to improve the overall gameplay experience. You can read more about that here.
Upon its release, FAU-G had a single-player story mode that gave players a glimpse of the Galwan Valley. The Team Deathmatch mode and Free For All mode were also teased in the menu options. The developers have not revealed an exact date for the launch of the Team Deathmatch mode in FAU-G, and have only said it is coming soon.
