Garena has announced a new version of it’s popular battle royale game, Free Fire. Called Free Fire Max, the game is now available for pre-registration on the Google Play Store. The new game claims to take the core concept of Free Fire and turn things up a notch.
Garena Free Fire Max: How to registerAs mentioned earlier, Free Fire Max is available for pre-registration for Google Play Store. All players can do is search for the same on the store and click on the ‘Register’ button. They can then choose to be notified or automatically download the game the moment it becomes available. They can also click here to go directly to the game’s official listing.
It should be noted that the game is not yet available on iOS. As such, it is not yet known when it will be available for iPhone and iPad users.
Garena Free Fire Max: RewardsAs an added bonus, players who pre-register for Garena Free Fire Max will get an added reward in the form of exclusive in-game items. This includes the Cyber Max Loot Box which will include some unique in-game items like the Cyber Max Skyboard, Max Raychaser Bundle, and the Cybermax Loot Box

According to the game’s listing on the Google Play Store, the gameplay of Garena Free Fire Max will be pretty much the same as the standard version of Free Fire. As such, it will still offer 50-player battle royale matches.
However, Free Fire Max will offer HD graphics as well as enhanced special effects and smoother gameplay. This means that players can expect a more premium gameplay experience.
Garena Free Fire: Firelink technologyGarena will also be implementing its Firelink technology in Free Fire Max. This will allow Garena Free Fire players to transfer their progress and items across to Free Fire Max and these are maintained across both games. Players will be able to play all game modes with both Free Fire and Fire Fire Max together.
Garena Free Fire Max: LaunchThe launch date for Garena Free Fire Max is not yet known. But considering the fact that the game is up for pre-registration, the launch should be just a few weeks away, possibly closer.
