Jio Fiber has launched six new postpaid plans in India. When it comes to postpaid plans, the telecom operator had 6 and 12-months postpaid plans only. They have now expanded with the addition of six quarterly postpaid plans. These plans start at ₹2,097, exclusive of GST charges, with a base plan of 100Mbps.
Jio Fiber Quarterly Postpaid Plans and PricingJio Fiber offers a base plan, priced at ₹2,097. It includes 100Mbps of upload and download speeds, unlimited data and voice calling benefits for three months. Here, you won't be getting any additional benefits like OTT subscriptions. This will set you back by about ₹699 per month on this plan.
Jio Fiber also offers a plan with 150Mbps speed, voice calling for three months. and will cost you about ₹2,997. Here, you will also get free access to various streaming platforms, which includes AltBalaji, Amazon Prime Video, Discovery+, Disney+ Hotstar, Eros Now, HoiChoi, JioSaavn, JioCinema, Lionsgate Play, ShemarooMe, SonyLIV, Sun NXT, Voot Kids, Voot Select, and Zee5.
Jio Fiber six-month plans explainedThere is also a quarterly postpaid plan of ₹4,497, which offers 300Mbps speed and voice calling support. You get access to all the OTT services provided with the ₹2,997 Jio Fiber broadband plan with the addition of Netflix's Basic plan.
For consumers who are looking for a 500Mbps broadband plan, Jio Fiber offers it at ₹7,497 with 500Mbps speed and voice calling support. The rest of the privileges are similar to the ₹4,497 Jio Fiber broadband plan.
You can maximize your internet experience with a broadband plan consisting of 1Gbps upload and download speed at ₹11,997. In this plan, you will get voice calling benefits and access to all 15 OTT platforms, just like the previous plans.
In all the plans mentioned above, you will have to pay GST along with the prices mentioned, and you receive about 3300GB of data to use in the three months of the billing cycle. The company has taken this decision to avoid abuse of Unlimited Data benefits.
The company says, "To avoid abuse of Unlimited Data benefits by a few that affects the vast majority of other users, for such plans, RJIL will identify and treat any consumption by a customer beyond 3300 GB of data in a bill cycle; as misuse of the benefits provided. Upon reaching such a limit in a bill cycle, RJIL reserves the right to withdraw the plan benefits in the form of data use for such consumers without giving any prior notice."
If you want more data, then you can opt for the ₹25,497 plan. It offers the same benefits as the previous plan, 1Gbps speed, voice calling and 15 OTT subscription, along with 6600GB of data per month.
