iQOO 9 series is slowly making rounds on the news cycle as its India launch might be right around the corner. Well, if a new report is to be believed, we may get to see the launch event as soon as February 23. The claim is made by Passionategeekz who have apparently got their hands on the first sale timeline too. According to this, the first sale date of the iQOO 9 series in the country would be from March 2, 2022.
So, here’s a look at what this report reveals. Needless to say, do take them with the proverbial grain of salt.

And a week from then on March 2, the three phones of the iQOO 9 lineup are expected to hit the stores. You can check out the alleged stock listing of the upcoming iQOO phones. We also get to see the purported variants of them. So, if right, these are the various iQOO 9 SKUs in India —
iQOO 9 5G will be available in 8+128GB and 12+256GB memory configurations in Alpha and Legend colors. iQOO 9 Pro 5G will be out in 8/12GB RAM and 256GB storage options. The colorways would be Legend and Dark Cruise. And last but not least, the iQOO 9 SE could arrive in 8+128GB and 12+256GB models. The available colors would be Space Fusion and Sunset Sierra.Since the iQOO 9 series is already occupied a microsite on Amazon, it would be an outlet for sure. We may learn about other stores at the launch event.
iQOO 9, iQOO 9 Pro, iQOO 9 SE Specs and Features (expected)The regular iQOO 9 has got an FHD+ AMOLED screen with HDR10 support and flat edges. Meanwhile, the Pro model will have a better QHD+ LTPO AMOLED panel with HDR10+ picture support.
Flip to the back, and there the iQOO 9 Pro has an upper hand in terms of gimbal OIS support with its primary 50MP snapper, while the vanilla variant has regular OIS only. Next, the secondary sensor on the iQOO 9 Pro is 16MP with a 2.5x optical telephoto (with OIS) and the iQOO 9 uses a 12MP sensor with 2x optical zoom. Finally, the third sensor on the standard iQOO 9 is a 50MP 150˚ ultrawide snapper (w/ Auto Focus) whereas the iQOO 9 Pro has a smaller 13MP sensor with a 120-degree lens.
The advantage of the Pro tag extends to video-recording too in the form of 8K30FPS support while the normal iQOO 9 shoots up to 4K30FPS only. In India, as you have already seen, we are expecting a third variant called iQOO 9 SE which could have Qualcomm Snapdragon 888 SoC aided by up to 12GB of RAM and up to 512GB of internal storage at the helm, a 6.62-inch FHD+ AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate and 360Hz touch sampling rate on top, and other goodies like 48MP primary camera (with OIS) and 66W fas charging support in the mix.
