The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom has now become the first Nintendo Switch exclusive to cost $70 (about Rs. 5,785), clearing the way for more game makers to also lift their prices. The move matches premium pricing offered by key rivals such as Sony PlayStation and Microsoft’s Xbox and might lead to the normalisation of greater upfront costs.
