Vivo has unveiled a new smartphone in the Indian market, Vivo V29e. The Vivo V29e is the first smartphone launched from the company under the V29 series. It is a mid-range smartphone which features decent specifications and a very good design. It was launched today (August 28) at 12 PM IST and the company has also confirmed some of its specifications on the teasers earlier. However, now the smartphone is actually out, let’s go through its full specifications.
In terms of design, the smartphone will not disappoint you, at least not the Red colour. It is launched in two colours that are Artistic Red and Artistic Blue. The smartphone is also ultra slim, as Vivo calls it that. It is 7.57mm thin and weighs 180.5 grams.

The Vivo V29e is equipped with a 6.78-inch 3D curved AMOLED display. It also comes with the support of 120Hz refresh rate and FHD+ (2400 x 1080 pixels) resolution. It features the Funtouch OS 13 skin on top, which is based on the Android 13 operating system.
Talking about the performance, it is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 695 processor, which is paired with two storage configurations; 8GB RAM 128GB storage and 8GB RAM 256 storage. A 5000mAh battery backs the Vivo V29e with a support of up to 44-watt fast charging.
For photography, this smartphone comes with a 50-megapixel AF selfie shooter on the front. On the back, there is a dual camera setup that carries a 64-megapixel primary camera, along with an 8-megapixel ultra-wide lens.

Furthermore, if we talk about the pricing, the Vivo V29e is launched in India at a starting price of ₹26,999 for the 8GB 128GB variant and ₹28,999 for the top variant. However, the company has also offered a ₹2500 instant discount on HDFC and SBI Bank cards. The pre-booking of Vivo V29e starts today and will be available for purchase from September 7 on Flipkart and Vivo's official website.
The Vivo V29e overall looks fine but it should have launched with a cheaper price. Seeing through the processor perspective, ₹26,999 feels a little costly. However, the design and battery backup is wonderful. So, make your call about it and let us know what you think.
