Nokia X71 specs, sketched image leak

Highlights: Nokia X71 sketch shows punch hole display, triple camera setup on the back. The phone is rumoured to come with a 48MP primary sensor. A forum claims that the Nokia X71 and Nokia 6.2 are two different devices.   HMD Global will unveil the Nokia X71 on April 2 in Taiwan and just a day ahead of its launch, a sketched image of the phone has leaked showing a triple camera setup on the back and a punch hole display design. The USP of the device is the 48MP camera that we have already seen in a couple of phones launched earlier this year. Interestingly, this could be the first offering from the Finnish giant to have a punch-hole display and a 48MP primary sensor. Apart from the sketch, the leak posted on SlashLeaks also lists the hardware specs that the phone is rumoured to come with. Under the hood, the Nokia X71 is said to have a Qualcomm Snapdragon 660 mobile platform along with 6GB RAM. Last month, the phone was spotted on the Geekbench Browser bearing a Snapdragon 660 chipset with 6GB of RAM, scoring 1455 on the Single-Core test and 5075 on the Multi-Core test. When it comes to the display, the phone is said to sport a 6.4-inch Full HD+ display with a punch-hole. We neither know what type of panel (LCD or OLED) will the phone use, nor there is any information on the resolution of the camera that will be placed inside the hole in the display. The phone is claimed to be ship with a 3500mAh battery and is said to run on Android 9 Pie. The sketch shows the Android One branding which suggests the phone will launch under Google’s Android One Program. The rear camera setup is said to come with three sensors. The primary sensor is speculated to be the 48MP one, however, there is no confirmation on whether the device employs a 48MP sensor by Sony or Samsung. The other two sensors are an 8MP one and a 5MP camera. Previous reports have suggested that secondary camera of the trio may have a 120-degree wide-angle lens. Meanwhile, a China-based forum that reports about Nokia, has claimed that the Nokia X71 and the Nokia 6.2 are two different devices. Till now, it was being understood that both the phones are same. Digit cannot confirm the veracity of the claim so you have to take this development with a hint of salt. The Nokia 6.2 has been reported to ship with a dual-camera setup on the back, Snapdragon 632 SoC along with 4GB/6GB RAM. Redmi smartphone powered by Snapdragon 855 spotted with Xiaomi CEO Lei jun

Highlights: Redmi smartphone with Snapdragon 855 allegedly seen in an image.  The phone is kept on a table, behind Xiaomi CEO Lei Jun. The handset is said to feature a notch-free display and a pop-up camera.    After launching the Redmi Note 7, Redmi confirmed that it is working on a Snapdragon 855 powered smartphone. It was also reported that the company will price the phone at RMB 2,500 (Rs 26,000 approx) but no other details regarding it have been revealed since. Now, a new image circulating on Weibo has surfaced online, where Redmi CEO Lei Jun can be seen holding a phone. However, the Redmi phone powered by the Snapdragon 855 is said to be placed on the table behind Jun. Two phones can be seen in tha image, on a table place behind the Xiaomi CEO. There a dark coloured phone and another with a red edge, these are reportedly Redmi's upcoming Snapdragon 855 phones, not the one held by the company executive.  While the image doesn’t give away too much, the report claims that the phone will feature a notch-free, thin-bezel display. Since there’s no notch, the company is said to use a pop-up front camera. A highly-zoomed crop of the image suggests that there might, in fact, be no notch on the phone’s display. There is a 3.5mm audio jack on the device and a seam on the edge’s right portion seems to suggest a pop-up camera. However, since the image is super-blurry, it is difficult to ascertain anything else about the alleged Redmi phone. There’s also no reason to believe whether the handset in the image is actually a Redmi phone with the Snapdragon 855 SoC, but since it appeared on SlashLeaks, it's possible there is some truth to the matter.  The upcoming Snapdragon 855 running smartphone will be Redmi’s first flagship handset. This comes after the company split from Xiaomi so that the latter’s phones generate more business in its segment. The company now has three brands, Poco for ‘affordable premium’ smartphones, Mi for premium phones and Redmi for budget phones. IDC released a report as per which Poco F1 is now the top online selling smartphone in Rs 15,000 and above segment in Q4 2018 with 22.4 percent share.
