Lenovo Legion 2 Pro live photos have leaked online showing a built-in fan

Lenovo's Legion series has some really good gaming phones and their upcoming device is said to bring some new things to the table. Some real-world photos of the Legion 2 Pro have leaked online and it shows that the phone has a built-in fan.

That's right, the Lenovo Legion 2 Pro will have a physical built-in fan on the back for better heat dissipation. As you can see in the image below, the built-in fan seems to be in the middle of the device. In fact, Lenovo has also moved the camera module to the centre next to the Legion logo and the fan.

Lenovo Legion 2 Pro

The USB Type-C port is at the side of the phone next to the volume rocker. The pop-up camera module is on the right side of the phone, which means Lenovo is sticking to the horizontal orientation.

The back of the phone seems to be all white except for the centre part which is reserved for the Legion logo and other components. We see two cameras, a microphone, a dual-LED flash, the Legion logo and the fan, all crammed at the centre so that they don't come in the way while you hold the phone for playing games.

Lenovo Legion 2 Pro

The back glass seems to have a design that makes it look like the back glass is curved. However, it looks more like an optical illusion. It surely looks super interesting and we can't wait to see what Lenovo has packed into this device. The phone is said to have a 5,500 mAh battery with support for up to 90W fast-charging or even 110W charging. You can also expect the phone to come with other powerful internals.

We'll know everything about the phone very soon as the company is planning to launch it on Thursday.

Apples next-generation iMac is said to feature the largest display ever

Apple is expected to launch a newly redesigned iMac later this year. And if the leaked info is something to go by, then it looks like it will feature a larger display than the current offering in the iMac lineup. Credible leaker l0vetodream says that the new iMac will feature the largest display ever.

For those of you who don't know, Apple currently sells a 21.5-inch and a 27-inch iMac. Apple is rumored to replace both with faster and redesigned models. This is expected to be a major redesign, something Apple's desktop hasn't received since 2012. According to l0vetodream, the new model replacing the 27-inch size will feature a larger display.

iMac concept

"The ‌iMac‌’s screen is really big, bigger than the biggest one," his translated tweet says. This is in line with a Bloomberg report that came out earlier that said the new ‌iMac‌ will feature slimmer bezels. Apple will most likely get rid of the metal chin to a great extent and make it look more like the Pro Display XDR it currently sells separately.

The Pro Display XDR is Apple's standalone high-end monitor and it features a 32-inch display. So perhaps a 32-inch iMac this year? Alongside the new design, the new iMac computers are also expected to feature the next-generation Apple silicon chips.

Again, if the rumors are something to go by, Apple is testing chips with as many as 16 high-performance cores and four efficiency cores. Apple has already done an incredible job with its M1 chip that's powering the new MacBooks and the Mac mini. We are expecting a bigger performance jump with the next-generation chips for the iMac.

Apple's iMac desktop computers are heavy-duty machines that can take advantage of the added performance. However, it remains to be exactly how powerful these new computers really are. Another separate leak also claims that the iMac will come in a few different color variants. This will be new for the iMac lineup because we only saw two colors with the previous generation iMac.

WhatsApp could soon allow chat history migration between iOS and Android

While a user can back up the WhatsApp chat history to the cloud, there is no official way to transfer WhatsApp chats between iOS and Android. WhatsApp has been working on multiple device support for some time now and new information from WABetaInfo suggests that the service will soon let users move their chat history between different platforms.

WhatsApp has been working on multiple device support where a user will be able to send and receive messages from any of their devices without their primary device being connected to the internet. It looks like the migration of chat between iOS and Android will help in ensuring uniformity and continuity of the chat with multiple device support.

According to WABetaInfo, “WhatsApp will allow migrating your chat history from WhatsApp for iOS to WhatsApp for Android. It is obvious that WhatsApp will also allow the opposite way. When the user tries to link a device having a different operating system to his WhatsApp account, it’s always needed to update to the latest WhatsApp update available on the App Store or TestFlight, in order to avoid any compatibility error with the Android version”.

There is no information on when the ability to migrate a user's chat will be available nor when multiple device support will launch.

In other WhatsApp news, the service has added voice and video calling support to its desktop app. It will however only support one-to-one calls for now. You can learn more about it here.

WhatsApp is also testing self-destructing photos. The feature is currently in development and is expected to launch for both iOS and Android. You can learn more about it here.

Users can also mute a video before sharing it on WhatsApp. You can learn how to mute a video before sharing it here.

OnePlus Pay receives certification in India, could launch soon

OnePlus launched its own digital payment service back in 2019 and it has remained exclusive to China since then. But it looks like that's about to change now as the 'OnePlus Pay' trademark has been filed and accepted by the India Trade Marks Registry.   Yes, it looks like OnePlus has registered the trademark for OnePlus Pay in India which means the service could be launching in India soon. The trademark listing doesn't reveal much about the mobile payments service or its launch timeline though.

OnePlus files the trademark for OnePlus Pay in India.#OnePlus #OnePlusPay pic.twitter.com/nzU1U9ipAH

— Mukul Sharma (@stufflistings) April 5, 2021 The listing was spotted by a popular Twitter user who has a good track record of leaking accurate info. So it's safe to say that we can expect OnePlus Pay to arrive as a part of the OxygenOS update soon.   OnePlus Pay will go head-to-head with existing players like Google Pay, PhonePe, Paytm, and others in the country. We already have a ton of payments app in the country but this should allow OnePlus users to make mobile payments easily without having to rely on anything else. In China, OnePlus Pay is a part of the Wallet app and is exclusive to HydrogenOS.   To use OnePlus Pay, users can simply double press the power button to quickly access it. It works with NFC-enabled POS devices in local shops, malls, etc. OnePlus will most likely partner with an international payment gateway like Mastercard and Visa in India. OnePlus has a very good presence in India and it makes sense complete sense to enable new features for a huge chunk of its users here in India. We just have to wait for an official announcement to see how the service works out.
