The Vivo X90 series is tipped to launch soon

Vivo's flagship devices are known for their high-end hardware, and the X90 series is no exception. The X90, X90 Pro, and X90 Pro+ were launched in China last year and are now rumoured to be coming to India. Although the company has not yet confirmed this, a tipster has leaked possible pre-sale and release dates for the devices.

Vivo X90 series launch timelines

According to a tip from Paras Guglani, the pre-sales for the Vivo X90 series will begin on January 27th, just one week from now. The global launch for the devices is said to take place on February 3rd.

Aside from the launch dates, the tipster has also shared images of the retail boxes of the Vivo X90 and the Vivo X90 Pro. The absence of the Pro+ variant in the leak could suggest that the phone may not be launching globally, but this is still unconfirmed. It is worth noting that the X90 Pro+ was not launched in the market last year at all.

Vivo X90 specifications (expected)

While all three smartphones in the Vivo X90 series have the same display size, there are some differences in their specifications. The X90 and the X90 Pro share a resolution of 1260 x 2800, while the X90 Pro+ has a higher resolution of 1440 x 3200 pixels. Additionally, the X90 Pro+ is said to have a more vivid display with a peak brightness of 1800 nits, which is notably brighter than the 1300 nits on the other two models. All of the X90 series displays have a 120Hz refresh rate.

In terms of performance, the Vivo X90 and the Vivo X90 Pro are powered by the Dimensity 9200 chip, while the Vivo X90 Pro+ is powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2. Both chips are flagship processors, with the Snapdragon only slightly outperforming the Dimensity on benchmarking apps.

In terms of photography, the X90 Pro and the X90 Pro+ have the same 1-inch 50MP Sony IMX989 sensor on the rear as the primary camera, while the X90 features a 50MP Sony IMX866 sensor as its primary camera.

Vivo X90 price in India

The Vivo X90 series has a starting price of CNY 3,699 (approximately ₹42,000) for the X90, CNY 4,999 (approximately ₹57,000) for the X90 Pro, and CNY 6,499 (approximately ₹74,000) for the X90 Pro+ in China. These prices are only estimates based on currency conversion, and it is likely that the prices will be slightly higher when these phones are released in India.

iQOO Neo 7 will be available in Blue and Grey, could be a rebranded Neo 7 SE

The iQOO Neo 7, which has been highly anticipated, will be launching in India on February 16th. However, it will have some differences compared to its Chinese version. 

The company has confirmed that the Indian Neo 7 will be powered by a Dimensity 8200 chipset and support 120W charging. A recent report has also revealed the design, screen specifications, and color options of the smartphone. The Neo 7 will feature a 6.8-inch AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate and will be available in Gray and Blue colour options. It is expected to be a rebranded version of the Neo 7 SE which was recently launched in China.

What can you expect from the iQOO Neo 7?

Recently, the company provided some information about the Neo 7's performance. It confirmed that the phone will be powered by the Dimensity 8200 chipset clocked at 88% of its maximum performance. It is also said to have an ultra-game mode and a full-coverage 3D Cooling System.

If the Neo 7 is indeed a rebranded Neo 7 SE, it is likely to have a 5000mAh battery with 120W fast charging support. It is expected to have a high-resolution 64MP primary camera, 2MP macro lens and 2MP depth sensor on the rear. The front-facing camera is likely to be a 16MP for video calls and selfies. Other features include Type-C charging port and dual speakers.

iQOO Neo 7 price in India

The price of the iQOO Neo 7 smartphone is not yet known, but the company has announced that it will be available for purchase in India through Amazon and the iQOO e-store. Additional information about the device is expected to be released in the near future

New State Mobile January Update comes with sweet new features and modes

For fans of New State Mobile, the January update has a ton of new features that aim to change the way you play. A ton of balancing issues has been addressed in the update. These include changes in weapons, vehicles and even the Drone store. Another new feature is the addition of Team Deathmatch Mode to the Arena Map and much more. These updates have been released for both iOS and Android. Let’s dive a little deeper into the various changes and modes. 

New State Mobile New Features and Modes

Balancing changes have been made to SMGs, ARs and LMGs, lowering their long-range damage output. Vehicles have also been affected with improved durability on the Vrion, Electron and UAZ, while sedans now have increased speed and motorbikes have increased stability for easier handling. The cooldown on the Drone Store has also been tweaked with a slight decrease in wait times as well as increasing the speed at which deliveries take place. 

Another addition is Team Deathmatch to Arena Mode. The team to hit 30 kills will win the Deathmatch.  Changes have also been made to the Shooting Gallery and the additional points for SR have been reduced from 800 to 500. 

In terms of characters, the Survivor Pass Vol. 15 comes with Keeper from the Dream Runner faction! You will receive access to Keeper’s background story from the Pass’ story quests. Once all missions have been finished, players will receive Keeper’s facial appearance.

WhatsApp finally allows users to share near original-quality photos

Whatsapp has launched another Beta version which enables you to share voice notes on Status updates. This new Beta version features an HD Photos option available within the WhatsApp settings which allows users to select a desired quality configuration for photos that are being shared. The Whatsapp Beta for Android 2.21.15.7 includes an Automatic, best quality and data saver option. However, this still does not allow the users to share photos in their original quality as they are just less compressed.

But, this could change pretty soon as WhatsApp is working on a new feature that will allow users to send photos in their original quality. This feature was discovered under the recent WhatsApp for Android 2.23.2.11 update.

Reports suggest that WhatsApp is planning to integrate the new settings icon which will allow users to choose the picture quality within the drawing tool. Hence, in the coming future, we will be able to send pictures in their original quality through WhatsApp. It will give users more control over the photo quality and they will not have to rely on other ways to share media.

The beta version 2.23.2.11 is not out for everyone yet so if you want to send the pictures in original quality on Whatsapp, you can do so by sending them as a document. Here’s how you can do it:

How to send photos as documents in iOS: Open the Photos app on your iPhone. Tap and open the picture you want to send. Click the share button on the bottom left corner of the screen. Tap on Save to Files. Save the image in your desired folder. Open WhatsApp and chat with whom you want to send the picture. Click the + icon and select Document. Select the picture from the Files app and send it. How to send photos as documents in Android: Open the chat you want to send the photo in. Tap on the pin on the text bar. Select Documents and then tap on Browse other docs. Select the image you want to send and then tap on Send.
