Highlights: Vivo V15 Pro to launch in India today. It could be the first handset to launch running on the Snapdragon 675 SoC. Vivo is all set to launch its new Vivo V15 Pro smartphone in India today. The new smartphone by the Chinese smartphone manufacturer has been teased numerous times this week. Ahead of the official launch, Amazon hosted a dedicated micro-site for the handset suggesting that it will be available online via Amazon.in. The company also outed most design elements of the upcoming smartphone in an official teaser video, where it is seen featuring a completely bezel-less display and a pop-up camera. It is also expected to feature an in-display fingerprint sensor and is confirmed to sport a triple-rear camera setup. Vivo V15 Pro How To Watch Livestream The launch event of the Vivo V15 Pro is slated to commence at 12 PM on February 20. The company will stream the event live via its social media channels but you can watch it directly from the video embedded below. Vivo V15 Pro Expected Specifications From the numerous reports about the device we have come across so far, and the Amazon’s microsite, the phone will feature a 32MP front-facing camera. The camera will pop-up from the upper edge when using the front-camera or the face unlock feature. On the rear, it will come equipped with a 48MP main camera that delivers images with 12MP effective pixels, however, there is no information on whether it is the Samsung GM1 or the Sony IMX586 sensor. The smartphone will ship with an in-display fingerprint sensor as well and on the lower edge, the handset will come with a USB Type-C port, along with a SIM tray and speakers on its either sides. While all the above-mentioned information is confirmed, rumoured specs of the Vivo V15 Pro suggest that it will run on the Qualcomm Snapdragon 675 SoC. If this turns out to be true, it could be amongst the first devices to be powered by the Snapdragon 675 chipset. It might be announced in 6GB RAM and 128GB internal storage version. The smartphone is speculated to feature a 6.4-inch Super AMOLED FHD+ display, which is confirmed to sport an in-display fingerprint sensor. The 48MP main camera on the back of the phone is rumoured to be a Samsung Sensor. The other two cameras might feature 8MP and 5MP sensors but there is no additional information on what they could be used for. The handset might be backed by a 3700mAh battery and is rumoured to cost around Rs 25,000.
