Highlights: Vivo has unveiled its Vivo X27 officially ahead of official launch. The smartphone is confirmed to feature a 4000mAh battery and come with a triple camera setup. It will also sport a 48MP camera setup. Vivo will launch its Vivo X27 smartphone on March 19, along with the Vivo S1. However, ahead of the official unveiling, the company has decided to bare the Vivo X27’s design and reveal some of its key specifications. Via a series of Weibo posts, the smartphone maker has revealed the pop-up front-facing camera on the Vivo X27, along with a triple rear-camera setup. While both of these features were already known, none of the phone’s specs were confirmed as they were based on reports. Vivo now confirms that the X27 will come equipped with 8GB RAM, coupled with 256GB of internal storage and it will be backed by a massive 4000mAh battery. Additionally, the Vivo X27 will come equipped with a 48MP rear camera sensor and will be available in ‘bird feather blue’ colour in China. While rest of the specifications of the phone are yet to be unveiled, it was previously spotted on TENAA. The listing suggests that the phone might be launched in two variants. One could be less expensive version powered by the Snapdragon 670 SoC and other variant running on the Qualcomm Snapdragon 710 platform. he The Snapdragon 710 SoC powered version of the phone was listed on TENAA with 8GB RAM and 256GB storage. The Vivo X27 will reportedly sport a 6.39-inch Full-HD+ AMOLED display. The more expensive variant of the phone is said to come equipped with a 32MP front camera and the less powerful version could feature a 16MP sensor on the front. On the back, both variants are speculated to feature a triple-camera setup with a 48MP main Sony IMX586 sensor and now, at least one of them is confirmed to come with a 48MP sensor. As for the Vivo S1, the phone could come with a 6.5-inch display with Full HD+ resolution and an under-display fingerprint scanner. It might be powered by the MediaTek Helio P70 chipset, coupled with 6GB RAM and 128GB of internal storage. In terms of optics, the handset will reportedly sport a triple camera setup with a 12MP regular, 8MP ultra wide angle and a 5MP depth sensor.
