Highlights: Xiaomi Mi LED TV 4 Pro 55 gets Rs 2000 price cut. The TV is now available for Rs 47,999 on Flipkart and Mi.com. It was launched in September last year and is claimed to be the world’s thinnest TV. Xiaomi has slashed the price of the Mi LED TV 4 Pro 55-inch in India, and it is now available for Rs 47,999 after getting a price cut of Rs 2,000. The development was announced by Xiaomi India Managing Director Manu Kumar Jain on Twitter, and the new price is now listed on both Flipkart as well as Mi.com. The TV was launched in September and the company claims that it is the world’s thinnest AndroidTV. The Xiaomi Mi TV 4 Pro 55 sports a 55-inch 4K HDR display with very thin bezels and is just 4.9mm thick. It comes with 2x8W stereo speakers to deliver compressed lossless surround sound. Under the hood, it has an AmLogic 64 bit Quad-core processor with 2GB RAM and 8GB local storage. The processor has Mali-450 MP GPU, three HDMI ports, 2 USB port, and a S/PDIF port. The Xiaomi Mi LED TV 4 Pro is based on Google's Android TV platform and packs Google Play Store support as well as built-in Chromecast support. Xiaomi is offering over 700,000 hours of content and the “Google Voice Search” will let users search for movies and TV shows. The news comes a day after Samsung launched its online exclusive UHD TV line-up with features like live cast, tune station, screen mirroring, and “Real 4K” resolution. Samsung’s Super 6 Series UHD line-up has three TVs. The 43-inch TV is priced at Rs 41,990, the 50-inch Tv costs Rs 51,990 and the 55-inch TV will be available for Rs 61,990. These TVs will be available from March 12 on Samsung Shop and Flipkart (43-inch, 50-inch and 55-inch) and Amazon (50-inch). The TVs ships with PurColor technology and are also bundled with Smart Hub and Smart Convergence to pair smartphones with TV.
